Despite having qualified for the 1994 edition of the World Cup just 2 years earlier Sweden had a bit of a dry spell and were at home during the UEFA Euro 1996 competition. Blågult (The Blue and Yellow) finished 3rd in UEFA Euro 1996 qualifying in Group 3 in what should have been an easy group for Sweden. The team sported this kit by Adidas which was templated for several other nations and clubs that year.
