2011 Fort Lauderdale Strikers home jersey by Joma. The 2011 Fort Lauderdale Strikers season was the first season of the new team in the new North American Soccer League (NASL) after rebranding. The team made up of an eclectic bunch as diverse as the city of Fort Lauderdale consisted of players such as Eduardo Coudet, Jean Philippe Peguero, Gerson Mayen, Brian Shriver and several others. The Strikers finished 4th in the NASL in 2011 , NASL playoffs Runners-up and Soccer Bowl 2011 Runners up all in the 1st season of their return.
